about me

I'm a Pisces who lives in Indianapolis with my two dogs. Have wanted to be a writer since I was twelve years old. I have an abundant imagination, having notebooks filled with story outlines/ideas that I muse through when I finish writing a novel. Always looking for more information for my stories. I love to read, crochet, knit, and cook. Love to read supernatural and paranormal stories, fantasy, sci-fi. Really anything with a good plot to it. Will read yours if you try a hand at reading mine.

Growing Up WEREWOLF!

Linda Crowe Hendrickson

All Quinn Mannerling wants to do is lead a normal life. He can, as long as there's no full moon.

Leine Mannerling swapped babies at the hospital where she worked, giving her government agent brother and his wife the baby of a woman who just died, and taking the one they had. According to her sister-in-law, the first born of every generation up to the tenth would be a werewolf, and that's what she gave birth to.

Leine stole her dying boss' winning lottery ticket, quit her job and moved around a lot over the years, to keep Quinn safe. But Candice, her dead boss' wife, hired a detective to find Leine. The relatives of the dead woman are looking for their nephew, and Quinn has feelings for Diane Steele, the next door neighbor's daughter.

Quinn accidentally kills the relatives of the dead woman when they thought he was their nephew. He buries them far away, but drunken hunters, along with the Reverend, burst into Leine's home while she was arguing with Candice. Quinn changes, and the Reverend and Candy are killed. James Howard, the detective Candy hired to find Leine, is charged with the murders. He escapes, and holds Diane, Quinn and Leine hostages in the basement until they come clean about who really killed those people.

Time Sword

Linda Crowe Hendrickson

A sword that can cut through the fabric of space and time sends a feuding brother and sister back to ancient Japan.

Dorma Yukido was given possession of the family sword, not knowing it could slash through time and space. That secret, known only to her parents, was revealed when she and her brother fought for possession of the sword, which sent them through time and landed them in 1185 Japan.

Her brother, Akji, finds the emperor in that era and convinces him to give him a legend of men to go after Dorma. Once she gives him the information on how to control the sword, he plans to take whatever he wants from every era--after he kills her.

Dorma discovers their ancestor, Esako Yukido, and begs him to help her. Esako has to believe this crazy woman, for she carries the same sword that his father made from a rock that fell from the heavens...the same sword that now lies in his house. Dorma and Esako have two time swords that must be kept from her brother at all costs.

But each one needs to remember that whoever is worthy of the sword cannot be harmed by it.

I only read the first chapter but I will be reading more. Poor Blake. He does have the worst luck. The chapter made me feel like I was back in school again--ugh. Twelve years is enough for anyone. Have given you a star and have put it on my watch list. Good luck with the editors this month. view book

I'm not into zombies, but you asked nicely for comments and possible placement, so I read a little of the first chapter. Well written, kept my attention even tho, like I said, I'm not a zombie person. Will shelf this and read the rest of your interesting story when I can. Good luck reaching the... view book

Have read a little of "Embarrassment of Riches" and I think it's a hoot! Funny doesn't start to describe it. Backed it with pleasure. Will be reading more of it when I have the chance. Then I'm going on to your next book. That should be pleasurable as well. Linda "Time Sword" view book

Have tried reading both books, both leave me confused. I can roughly follow the trail you're trying to lead, but with all your grammar errors (punctuation, capitalization, spelling, fragment sentences and/or run together sentences, spaces where there should be none) it's hard to grasp the story. I have read several chapters of your devotionals a night (sometimes 3 and 4!) and they have helped me to relax more and see life in different colors. I finally reached the end of your story, and sad that it did end. I do hope you are continuting to write, and keep on putting your feelings, your ho... view book
