about me

Me in a Nutshell? Okay, here goes....I grew up in a dance studio. By the age of 9, I was already on full scholarships to major ballet companies around the United States. By age 14, I moved to NYC and studied at the prestigious School of American Ballet, at Juilliard, on full scholarship. I performed for various dance companies, having many leading roles at each one. I retired from ballet and began my studies in Montessori Education. After obtaining a teaching certificate, I went on to teach Pre - K through 1st grade, for several years. For the last 12 years, I have owned and operated my own dance studio until last year, when I closed it down to take care of my mother until her recent death. I am married with 4 children and really "dig" being a toothfairy! Currently I stay at home, I maintain the dance studio, but no longer teach. I enjoy fostering my other talents in making wooden nutcrackers on a lathe, welding different decorative pieces from iron, painting with watercolor, ink, and salt, making homemade soap from scratch (not a from a kit!), and trying my hands on anything new! I would love to now become an author! With much love, Natalie George

I am concerned about the title. There is a "Spoon Effect" or "Spoon Theory", written by a retired ballet dancer, illustrating her theories about her illness, Systemic Lupus. view book
