about me

My book A Requiem, Armenian Style used to be posted here but I have taken it down, as I have decided to publish it myself. I am aiming for a publication date around Christmas 2012. How realistic is that plan? I'll find out soon enough.

I've got it Fran. What makes your story and your writing so powerful is your unflinching honesty. I thought I was being honest in my story but the more I read you, the more I realize how much more work I have to do. xo Ruth view book

Dear Fran, I've been glancing back at the first 23 chapters, looking for examples of that powerful writing of yours. There are so many such passages, it's hard to choose. In the end, I decided on the one in Chapter 20 which starts with: "The rest was killing idleness interspersed with bedpans for pi... view book

Dear Fran, I've read up to Chapter 23 and thought I'd make a few comments now before reading the rest. You tell a powerful story, one that at times is not at all easy to read. The bathroom scene, for instance; I literally cried. As for your hospital experience, I was horrified. I cannot begin... view book

Dear Fran, consider this half a message, half a comment. The message part is in response to your comment to my book, which is -- are you psychic? :-) This is exactly what I plan on doing: I will have two different versions of the book, one for family and relatives with all the footnotes and names an... view book
