about me

I prefer to find my own reading matter. Not into swap reads, or promises and I tend to give one line crits if at all.

Perihelion is an erotic science fiction novella. The slightly old-fashioned language is intended to evoke memories of the SF pulps of the 40s and 50s. I will feature some of the old pulp magazines' lurid covers, with their hideous monsters, robots and tentacled monsters carrying off busty maidens. I can't promise tentacles in this story but there is at least one busty maiden!

Perihelion is still a work in progress and though edited, probably contains a few typos. It has about three more chapter to complete the tale.

I would be grateful for any comments, suggestions and criticisms you may care to make, but bear in mind that the mores and morals of the society are not those of our own.

I don't read paranormal, YA, kid lit, lit fic, fantasy involving elves or faeries, true life, mis fic or religious books.

Earth is in danger once again. But this time it is not only aliens who threaten the ultimate destruction.

In 9995 AG the galaxy is ruled by the Galactic Council which meets on Earth every five years. Lord Axel Gagarin-Raguse is a powerful member of the Inner Circle with ambitions beyond mere Lordship.

Axel meets Lalia when, in the crowded foyer of the hotel, she slaps him, believing that he pinched her. As a High Lord he can't allow her to go unpunished. And her punishment? She must serve as his hand-maiden for the duration of his stay on Earth, a punishment she both fears and longs for.

But why does her face seem somehow familiar to Axel?

Lord Axel's cydroids take charge of Lalia. They assure her she will not be harmed, but she must wash to remove contaminants. She is terrified by the bath, water being the scarcest commodity on a dry Earth. She is hypnotised, her duties implanted, but they find a block implanted deep in her brain. By the alien enemy or ...

But Axel's mind is being subtly manipulated by ... something else.

And what is in store for Earth? At Perihelion.

This was so easy to read I found I had read your first chapter though only intending to read a couple of paragraphs, and would have continued if I had more time. I have now put your book "How to Steal a Lion", on my WL. I hope to be back soon to read some more. Sylvie "Perihelion" view book
