about me

NOTE: I read all the books on my watchlist. Some times I will comment and this is mostly on how I feel, what I get from reading your written treasures, never on the technicalities of writing as I am not qualified for that. And some times, I back the books just because I loved what you wrote. Don't ever give up on your dreams.

A friend asked 'Have you told someone today, how much you love them?' Why are we afraid to say these 3 words? Afraid that the person would take it to mean 'I want you to marry me?' Afraid of being rejected or feeling foolish? Don't! Just say 'I love you' and mean it and to hell, if it is not reciprocated. But most of all say 'I love you' to yourself because that is where love starts and where it will end. I love you.

I am formerly in the communication field - specializing in advertising, PR and Event Management. I have wide ranging interests ranging from cooking, traveling to biking but nothing too dangerous like climbing mountains as I have a fear of heights.

By the way, if I sent you a message that says that I like your profile photo or your status message, don't take it the wrong way. It is meant to be as I meant it to be - nothing else. If I want you to read or back my book, I will ask for it directly.

Born To Be

Hany Hashim

A modern fairy tale of the possibilities of romance. It is written unashamedly unreal with a belief that it could be real.

'Born To Be' is partly a fairy tale and partly a wish to communicate 'have the believe' and 'hold on to faith'. It is an unrequited love story that began centuries ago, only to return to the present, bringing the hero and heroine together in love so strong that for them, there could never be any other. No doubt there is a murderous twist in the book but I would like the readers to read my book and feel that great things can happen to them as well. And with so much negativity happening around us, I don't want them to be reading something that reflects whatever they are already experiencing in their lives and for the duration of the book, I would like them to feel good, to feel the possibility. The book is not completed yet and has not been edited or corrected - so forgive me for that.

Sorry that I've taken so long to read it (it was on my WL for a long time and your message reminded me)...and after reading it, I wondered why it has taken me that long to get to it. Cameron, never liked reading sci-fi - preferred instead to watch it in a movie but Black star enthralled from the moment I 'opened' the cover. Your words were able to build the imagery that had me 'watching' a movie - you have chosen the right words to create the suspense, tensions and the passion. ... view book

Georgette, I loved reading your book - pure pleasure. I find through your words, intrigue, suspense and lots of drama within a well paced action. There is no wastage of words - you use just the right words to build the wonderful imagery and yet these were perfectly suited to describe the storyline -... view book

Alan, 'Savannah Passion is a great read. Through your words, I found the passion for storytelling, that was able to create intrigue, suspense even romance. You do waste your words, making them precise - it says what it needs to say yet were able to create wonderful images in my mind - it was like wa... view book

Mary, what a wonderful story you have written. And though it is just a tale, fiction - I can see parallels to the everyday life as you wrote '...about the things we tell and sell ourselves to get by.' I love the slow reveal and how you have managed to weave in the sense of darkness - and should this... view book
