about me

I'll soon be on my way to Cornell University for vet school, but my creative passion lies in writing. I love making characters, making conflicts and concrete subject matter. I love tempting readers and pulling them into a story that is just that--a story. Nothing more, and nothing less.

But stories are something we can not live with out. So we must write and tell.

favourite books

Roots, Harry Potter, Twilight, His Dark Materials, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Great Train Robbery, Flipped, The Series of Unfortunate Events, etc. The list goes on, and on, and on. I just can't think of anything else. :)

Homes of Strangers

Lee Lee

Sampson, a rejected elderly man, finds comfort from the wealthy family whose home he sneaks into while they're out.

His happiness lost long ago in the accidental death of his daughter, and his home beneath the bridge of the local train station, Sampson Kallis seeks companionship not with people, but with their possessions.

Roslyns Passed

Abby Lee

What if your worst fears were once your greatest-held possessions?

Chris Bartlett is normal until things began to go PARAnormal. As things begin to worsen, three things come into play: Ayden Thompson, several subplots, and ultimately Chris himself--all of them forcing him to overcome his fears. But when they all combine to throw light on the biggest fear of them all, Chris's dark past, will he be able to overcome it?

Comical, dramatic, and stitched with the obstacles that the everyday-teenager faces, Roslyns Passed brings to mind the courage one must have in order to forgive, forget, and move on.

Beneath The Trees of Bent Wate....

Abby Lee

It's the smallest towns that hold the biggest mysteries.

Follow the intensely symbolic story of a girl as she adjusts to living in a new town, suffers the consequences of hanging with the wrong crowd, and finds help from an unexpected friend.

This isn't proofread to perfection. Just keep that in mind while you read. :)

When The Black Swan Sings

Abby Lee

What's more important: the memory of someone gone, or the future of someone living?

Chris Bartlett, a 17-year-old living in Chicago, suffers. He's spent the last 4 years of his life dealing with the aftermath of an accident that changed his life forever. That is, he suffers until Ayden comes along--an intelligent, friendly girl that has a very unexpected power over Chris: She makes him feel whole again. All is well between the two until the source of Chris's past comes back to haunt him, ultimately forcing him to make a choice between his past and his present.

Wow. I'm really impressed because Neal Stephenson's "Snow Crash" reminds me so much of your "Honour"! WOW! And your pitch--that's really something I don't run across every day. A good one, that is. Snow Crash was published in 1992. Maybe you've heard of it? view book

I feel bad that you weren't able to grasp my story. It's a shame. Oh, and I wish I could write as good of pitches as you can. That's also a shame. view book
