about me

Kit Habianic is a London-based freelance.

She has placed short stories in four anthologies and literary magazines. Her debut novel Bwci-bo (not yet uploaded) is a love story set in industrial South Wales against the backdrop of the 1984/5 Miners Strike. In November, Bwci-bo was one of six full manuscripts shortlisted in the 2008 Daily Mail/Transworld First Novel Competition. The rewrite continues. Email: kithabianic at aol dot com

Bloody brilliant, this is, Reg! I saw Welsh, Not listed in the YouWriteOn charts and wanted to read it for ages. The voice is fantastic - Sion is so well drawn. And speaking as a fellow Taff, the rhythms of the language felt like coming home. Pob hwyl, Kit view book
