about me

If you would like to read The Celestial Proposal in its entirety, email me at author@thecelestialproposal.com

I hope you'll read some chapters, at least add some stars, and of course shelf the book if you can! PLEASE let me know if you think your manuscript would interest me too. For all those who left wonderful comments, I thank you my brothers and sisters...and wish you blessings.

What can I share about me? I'm an active Canadian woman who is seriously into manifesting good things using faith as a powerful tool. I also love travelling to exotic places, hiking on mountain trails and feeling the presence of Spirit all over the natural world.

But my passion is writing. Here's what spurs me on to become published. First from my professional editor, author and managing editor at ACU Press, Thom Lemmons:

“Jane Roderick's "A Celestial Proposal" ...develops a compelling argument for the intervention in human affairs of an advanced race of god-beings who, throughout human history, have sought to make themselves known.

Roderick shows the various ways in which they invite humanity to take the steps necessary to join their highly ethically and metaphysically advanced ranks, lending a new, challenging interpretation to the classic Christian doctrines…"A Celestial Proposal" will...intrigue both Christian (at least, those willing to consider the faith from a bold new angle) and New Age readers.”

Evaluated by the Writer’s Edge: The author is a seasoned writer...This is one of the more interesting submissions we have seen so far this year. We want to commend you for thinking “outside the box” as you put it.”

By Current Readers:
“This book helped me to understand what Christianity is really all about. I’ll never view God quite the same again! While obvious connections bring tears of joy, understand that your book is my foundation. I just want you to know that I deeply thank you for the one you have built me."

The Celestial Proposal is a narrative non-fiction manuscript (93,000 words complete). You can find more info about me at:

Endorsed by: Thom Lemmons, author and managing editor ACU Press who states:
"The Celestial Proposal" …develops a compelling argument for the intervention in human affairs of an advanced race of god-beings who, throughout human history, have sought to make themselves known.

Roderick shows the various ways in which they invite humanity to take the steps necessary to join their highly ethically and metaphysically advanced ranks, lending a new, challenging interpretation to the classic Christian doctrines…(which) will challenge and intrigue both Christian and New Age readers.”

An ancient Celestial Proposal emerges in stunning clarity. From the blueprints of creation, there has been a plan in place for the spiritual advancement of humanity in order for us to join the ranks of immortal beings. We have actually been and are still being contacted by an other-dimensional, metaphysical, omnipotent something, far greater than ourselves. Once we recognize the hero, the adversary, and other main celestial characters, we can plot where human beings fit into the storyline. Only then can we conceive the destiny God designed for us. This is 21st Century Christianity...

The Flight of the Hive sucked me in like a black hole on the first chapter! Using the pronoun "it" for the first clone we meet, perfectly sets the hive attributes early on in the story. The way you use italics for the character's thoughts is a great technique too. So far, I find no grammar or punctu... view book

Audrey, "Forgiveness Fits" reads like a winner! It definitely describes in realistic detail the bullying tactics of students in highschool. I like the tone and language you use as it takes the reader into that insular world so well. The way you weave Christian beliefs and standards into the characte... view book

“The Path to Survival” by Maria Trautman echoes with exquisite memories almost tangible to the reader. Maria has captured a timeless tale of childhood abandonment. The story flows with poignant beauty in the process of reconciliation with her upbringing. It’s exceptional writing and is worthwhile on... view book

Hi Faith, You have the makings of a very special book and I hope that it goes all the way. I like the zoom in on life events for each separate chapter. I was one of those who suggested using the term "my son instead of "my boy", or even use a *fictitious" first name or nickname. I think this would m... view book

Wow, what a creative way to encourage the reader to seek spiritual knowledge. I see symbolism as a language between me and God during my mundane activities of living, and I like to perceive truth outside the box, so your style appeals to me. The two uploaded chapters are well written but after a tho... view book
