about me

I have been writing for about seven years. My short stories and poetry have appeared in the anthologies The Light in Ordinary Things (Fearless Books, 2009), Tribute to Orpheus (Kearney Street Books, 2007), Going into Extra Innings (Birch Brook Press, 2006), and more. Publications also appear in Aethlon, Fiction International, Lynx Eye, and The First Line. "Deadpan" is my first novel. The story blends my love of stand-up comedy and the writings of Huxley, Marcuse, and Fromm.

Nice work. I always struggle with descriptions of technology in SciFI. You resisted the temptation to go too deeply into the description of technology. That made this a much better read than many of the works I come across. I thought the transition from the past to the new present was jarring. ... view book

Well written. I am really enjoying this. The only comment I have is that the chapters are a little thin. There is some richness of the location, the thoughts of the protagonist, and the dialogue that can be brought in to beef up each chapter. It's very easy to read. I'm only 7chapters in, but ... view book

This is unfolding very nicely. The writing is direct and elegant. The character development is pacing well. Just the right balance of technical jargon to keep it new and interesting, but not so much as to make me skip sentences to get to the meat. Just started the seventh chapter and I'm hooked.... view book
