about me

I joined Authonomy a few months ago and uploaded my book Theo the Immaculate. I had lots of great comments and learnt a great deal. I also read a great deal; endless chapters of uploaded books and spent time writing comments on others' hard work. I found some brilliant stuff but instead of working on writing, I was just reading and reading, hoping for that extra comment to edge me nearer the top 5 ( I think I made it into the top 1000 and had to stop). It took over my life so I removed my book and myself from the site leaving only my shadowy profile. I look in now and again, but won't be doing any more reading. Sorry to all those who have asked me to read and comment in the last couple of months - I have ignored you purposefully for my sanity (and the sake of my three kids!).

I love the idea of writing from the zombie's perspective - brilliant twist on a well used theme. Your writing is very, very funny and I'd love to see this made into a film. Excellent and shelved! Sue Theo the Immaculate view book

I've read chaper 1 and skipped to chapter 6 of this fantastic book. Your story is good, you launch straight into the action which is ideal for young readers who have no patience, the dialogue is believable and your characters are strong. I love your little clue in chapter 1 that no doubt links up la... view book

This has a great opening in which you describe your main character well and set the scene - it flows and gets the reader interested in the story. The following chapter is also good but could perhaps be cut down slightly. I think this has loads of potential and you are obviously a skilled writer. Bac... view book

Wow, what a great opening chapter and a fantastic lead into the next one! Very impressed with this - looks like a film to me. The dialogue is great and it flows at a good pace. This is shelved! Sue Theo the Immaculate view book

Beautifully written, I really like the prologue and felt compelled to read on. Your MC is perfect with spot-on dialogue. Oh, and I love the description of the Grandmother's make-up - created a brilliant picture in my head. You might want to go through with a fine tooth comb to check your spelling a... view book
