The Feast- Book I

Deanna Chrystal

What the devil has sent will destroy the lives of the innocent, but through the evil good prevails

Through the darkness, the malevolent shift-changers watched their victims, waiting for their moment to feast. The evil beings roamed the earth in large tribes, believing that one-day their kind would rule, fearing only one thing… From ancient times the clans of slayers evolved, being gifted with special abilities to overcome their enemy, but they were of human flesh, and had the lifespan of mankind, and many were killed over time. To each family, there was an appointed guardian, an immortal being of great strength, but they could not defeat the beast. In this era, one of the slayers was to rise to his full potential, but he was a stranger amongst those he was to save, ultimately being accused of the destructiveness the town had endured.

Echoes

Deanna Chrystal

Tessa had no idea of her new home’s gruesome past, but she became quickly aware when ‘they’ started taking over more than her mind...

An evil man named Strautus Brennon, lived early in the 1800’s. He kept slaves of black and white color, torturing and disposing of them without ever having a thought of remorse, but his worst sin was toward his daughter, Ella. She suffered the cruelest of heartbreak from his hands, dealing with the physical and mental anguish he’d bestowed upon her. Forever a prisoner to the walls in which she dwelled, her soul cries out for freedom, waiting for the one person to come along who can set her free, so she can escape her father’s persecution. Death was only a state of being for Strautus, and even in passing, he ruled, spewing his foulness to anyone who dared to step in his path.

The Cowboy and The Lady

Ariel Fletcher

Allie sets out for the big city with Sten, only to learn that the fast pace of the city was more than she'd bargained for.

After her hard breakup with Sten, Allie swore off men forever, but that was before her eyes spotted Cord, the dashing, somewhat aggravating cowboy, who owned the ranch across the street. A man she’d known for most of her life, but had somehow overlooked. Allie’s attentions became obsessed with Cord, and it frustrated her that she couldn’t capture his attention... but then she did, finding herself totally taken in by his good looks and charming ways. Unbeknownst to Allie, Cord had loved her for many years, and though the thought of having her love him, thrilled him, he was afraid of it. Allie had always followed another calling, and he feared his settled ways wouldn’t be enough to keep her attention. After a few months without her, Sten decided he wanted Allie back, driving back to the place he hated, to bring her home, and learning of her involvement with Cord only enhanced his desires, but after seeing Allie in Sten’s arms, Cord vowed out, knowing he could never trust her. Fate stepped in-in a hard way, inevitably disrupting everyone’s plans.

The Feast Book II

Part 2 of the continuing story

Elias could never settle for a normal life, though he had tried. He’d wanted his son’s life to be simpler, without the worry of slaying monsters, but Jerek had been cut from the same cloth, and soon Elias came to realize that there was nothing he could do to stop it. Slaying was in his son’s blood, just as it was in his, so Elias decided to teach him, only his lessons would be cut short when one night they were confronted by the fiercest of beasts. To save his son’s life, Elias would have to sacrifice his own, and as Elias watched the Guardian carry his son to safety, he knew he’d made the right choice. Elias had been spared by the help of a stranger who would turn out to be someone Elias thought was long dead, but it would be awhile before his family knew the truth. William took Jerek to the ‘School of Slayers,’ where young warriors were taught the way of the Clan, but what Jerek learned in the bog was much more than how to shoot a bow. He was now a part of the ‘Dark Ones.’
