about me

I currently reside in Henderson, NV (close to Las Vegas) but I grew up in Washington State with a short stint in Dorchester, England and my heart will always reside between those two places. A desert rat I am not. I love to write and I love to read. Words are my favorite thing followed closely by a delicious turkey and avocado sandwich. I love to sing and I'd say music is my second love, especially 70s rock, I think I may have been a groupie in my past life. My writing music, however, is different...anything from Loreena Mckennit, Enya, Clannad, and Irish flute music to Muse, Tori Amos, Brandon Flowers, David Gray, and others depending on my mood and the scene i'm wriring. Other things I love are my cocker spaniel, who likes to sit on my bed staring at me while I write, my family, who are always there for me no matter what, and my wandering spirit, which always wants to be somewhere new and exciting.
