My book revolves around the control of Time, through a ground-breaking technology called 'The TimeKeeper', and the consequences of wielding this power.
The plot develops into a struggle between Daniel, 'The TimeKeeper's' creator, and his mysterious nemesis, Janus, for mastery of 'The TimeKeeper'. Unbeknown to Daniel, Janus, whose dual identity is hinted at and finally revealed at the end of the book, is able to exert a powerful influence over events, acting as both friend and foe.
Daniel holds a press conference to launch 'The TimeKeeper' to the wider public with his long-standing friend and colleague Dr. Joseph Finch, who has been heavily involved in the development of 'The TimeKeeper' technology. Things soon take a sinister turn as, shortly after the conference, Daniel learns he has been murdered. Thus begins a series of mysterious, and at times confusing, events as Janus becomes more and more ruthless and determined, as he and his organisation, ‘the Global Initiative’ act in the name of ‘the common cause’.
Curiosity about 'The TimeKeeper’s' capabilities lead Daniel to experience the dangerous and damaging potential of his creation, not just for himself but for the future of the world as we know it.
