about me

After much soul searching, I've decided to make my book private for awhile. Thanks to everyone who read and backed Searching the Sun! I truly appreciate it.

I need my Authonomy-free life back for a bit! Once I've met my editing goals for Searching the Sun, I'll most likely give it another go.

To answer your question - no, I don't think this is too try-hard. I read the first three chapters and I quite like your style. The way you pace your clipped dialog with a narrative that's more literary - it really works for me. Little gems in here like "No more the boned hippies." And the story s... view book

Well, I'm not remotely qualified to critique this as I'm not at all familiar with the genre. What I do know, is that the writing is very strong and I read a lot of it - more than I thought I would! So, you have my backing and I'm happy to give it. Good luck! view book

I read the first 4 chapters and chapter 9. As a mom, this gets me right in the gut. You've captured so well that essence of motherhood - it doesn't matter if you are 16 or 36, your baby is still your baby. What I love about this is how you unravel the story - it's pieced out very nicely to make i... view book

I read the first chapter and backed a few days ago then came back to read through chapter four. What I like the most is the uniqueness of the characters. Even the supporting characters are well-drawn and interesting. And your dialog brings them to life! It's so sharp. Really well done. The end of c... view book

I read all 5 chapters. I'm very happy to back this based on your talent for prose and the uniqueness of the book. But, I am still digesting what I've read. I think your success with the book will largely depend on where it goes beyond these first chapters. If the rest of the book continued in the... view book
