about me

I am student aspiring to be a novelist.
I achieved an A* in my English Literature GCSE and next year plan to take Literature at A Level.
I am currently writing a my first piece of fiction called "Cariad", based around the trials and tribulations of a seventeen year old girl, who discovers she is a soceress with a strong underlying theme of Wales and the Welsh language.

Writing and reading books has always been a passion of mine, and now I've finally had the confidence to write something down properly. Music has been a great stimulus to me and of course the help of my family, friends and boyfriend who have encouraged me and put up with my complaining so far. Love you guys!

I am always up for a read swap, summer is now here and I'll have lots of free time. If I have promised to read your story I will do so.
Thank you also to everyone who has commented on "Cariad", your kind words really do make my day (:

Cariad

R E Parker

Caitlin Howard thinks she is nothing special... but she has no idea.

For generations, the legend and truth has remained hidden, lying in wait for its time in the forefront and now that time is here. It is time for your legend to be told...
What am I then? I ask, dreading to know the answer.
"You my darling, are a sorceress"

Cariad is the story of seventeen year old Catie Howard who discovers she is a lot more special than she ever could have imagined. She alone is the one who can destroy Hudol Ddwrg, God of Darkness and his minions, The Hydolaeth who are out to remove her, they can not let the legend come true.

On her perilous journey, she is helped by Dylan, her protector, who will teach her the ways of magic and prevent her from coming to harm, along the way however, they realise that they cannot out run history, they are meant to be together.

Will they survive the trying times ahead when the darkness of the world of magic tightens it's vice grip around them, or will Caitlin soon be in too far to turn back?

Hi Clare, Wow this really is superb. I really feel for Catherine in the opening chapters and I think the portrayal of the OCD is done perfectly. I really had a tear in my eye in chapter 15, just wow. Best of luck with it, really cannot wait for more. Backed. Best wishes Rebecca (Cariad) view book

I really like this. It's original, witty and the simplistic style makes the despair Mary is in very real and believeable. On my shelve as soon as I get room. Good luck with it and best wishes Rebecca (Cariad) view book

Hi Debra, Wow, what an idea. It oozes children fiction and I think every child reading this would love it, I certainly did! Just a few times, in the first chapter, I noticed a change in the way Maddy was spelt and a few missing capital letters on Mum, but other than that, it was great. On my wat... view book
