about me

I'm a stay-at-home Mom of three boys under the age of five. In my past lives I've been an Import Broker, a Communications Specialist, a US Navy Civilian Contractor, a Bartender, and an actor at the Michigan Renaissance Festival. I also spent a summer touring with the Grateful Dead(though I will deny to my children that it ever happened). I've always had a passion for both ancient and modern religions, and I'm fascinated by their mythology and philosophies. I'm also an avid reader of anything I can get my hands on and I think this has helped me to develop a writting style that is accessible and entertaining.

Actively seeking a literary agent to represent my book.

Ha! Very funny beginning, and very clever. I like how well thought out this chapter is, you really get into the whole conspiracy theory in a believable way. And the hook is great, maybe he really is a shape shifting lizard man? He better just be glad he wasn't doing that rich heiress, or he would ha... view book

Oye that's some rough humor, I like it! Took me a bit to get into the accents, for someone not familiar with the slang it takes a moment to figure out what naughty words translates into an American naughty word. ;) Good attention getting first paragraph, though the characters are a bit....horrible. ... view book

Can it be a misty night inside? That first sentence tripped me up and had me re-reading it to make sure of the setting. Very dark first chapter, full of sadness. I felt so bad for the main character. Interesting that it took social services that long to find the girl, but it was the 50's so things ... view book

Out of curiosity, is there a time zone difference between England and New York? Might be a detail to throw in while she is trying to sleep her first night in the states. Lovely interaction between Carolyn and the boys. Though the fight scene was a bit of a shock. I had some problem getting through... view book

Very good! It's the oddest thing, I kept hearing the sound of snow crunching underfoot as I read this. Every step he took I could hear that crunch against the hushed noise of a winter night. Beautifully written, an interesting mixture of love for what you are determined to kill. And the little glimp... view book
