about me

Published Author and Artist. More info on the official website. LIKE me on facebook and I will LIKE you back ;) Let's network!

Before you ask me to read your book, first let m tell you what I will and will NOT read:

What I WILL read:

Urban Fantasy, Crime/political thrillers, action/adventure, speculative histortical, Sci-fi, controversial Non-Fiction (so long as it doesn't support liberal/socialist ideals), conspiracy theory,
...I will ONLY read romance if it is surrounded by an action plot with other major things going on b/c generally romance bores me. I am a thrill seeker, so if your book is exciting it will mantain my attention. I'm okay with PG-13 sexual content but NOT into hard core, fully descriptive dirty sex.

generally, What I Will NOT read:

Chic lit, Erotica, Gay, Romace/Relationships, excessive violence/cursing/rape, I generally don't like sword & scorcery fantasy, Flowery prose, poetry, autobiographies, drama, tear jerkers,

and I don't normally like anything written in PRESENT TENSE... though, I have been known to be surprised by some authors

favourite books

Too many to list.

Desiree Finkbeiner

Some things are best left undiscovered... but the best discoveries come from what's left. Alienated, broken and lost... A fighter is born from the ashes...

It started with a mushroom, from another world ...never before touched by a human hand, until Brianna... but life continued as normal, until a near-fatal accident, reveals to Brianna ...she's... different...

Unexplained lab results, unusually fast healing, sightings of Jurassic sized dragonflies... Naïve and trusting Brianna must forget everything she knows, to discover who she really is...

When a peculiar man delivers her from a violent assault, she becomes enchanted by his heroism and inhuman abilities. Her rescuer, Kalen, is sworn to protect the powerful secret she has yet to realize, from an ancient foe with evil designs...

With the secret exposed, our world is no longer safe. Kalen takes Brianna to Ethos, his home, unprepared for what happens next... refined, broken, stripped of everything they were...
An ancient prophecy unfolds and they must make make a choice...Give into their love, or sacrifice their heart's desire for a chance to save their worlds.

I too have written a book on this very subject but I wrote it for my children and have never shared it with another soul (except my sister who cried her eyes out). I was married to an abusive man in the temple too, he used dogma and twisted the doctrine to meet his own abusive needs.... BUT I ha... view book

one can't help but wonder why there is a chicken in the uber-clean pharma halls. I love how you descrive the portly woman who is wearg clothing a little too tight for her size (it is a pet peeve of mine when women who are robust wear clothes clearly made for juniors, So it made me smile to read this... view book

I first clicked onto your book to critique its cover but your pitch has me adding this to my watchlist. Look like a very interesting read! The cover i LIKE! Beautiful hair, glowing eyes- it certainly makes me look and wonder. It acheives its purpose and made me want to "pick it up" view book

This is a cover critique, and NOT on content. (book covers sell books) The woman in the picture is beautiful and depicts elegance and innocence... with a secret. Hiding behind a tree gives the viewer a sense of "hard to get" and the branch draws the eye down to the author's name, which is good. A ... view book

I'm offering a critique on cover art, not content ;) First off, the yellow is brilliant. With so many covers in blacks and darker colors, the yellow will certainly grab attention on the shelf. Also, the color psychology behing yellow says, "Up-beat, positive, smile!" Seeing how this is in the com... view book
