about me

I am an author with five self-published novels. I am in a wheelchair with MS and am unable to get out to promote my books. After trying for a while, I decided not to wait for an agent to give me an answer. My books on Authonomy and my other ones are available on amazon, com. Anyone who would like to read the rest of the story, you can get them at a lower price as Kindle books.

QUEST FOR EDEN: THE MISSION

JEANNE DESAUTEL FOSTER

Quest for Eden: The Mission, the first of a trilogy, tells the story of Hod, nephew of Enoch,as he saves earth from the evil nephilim.

In the centuries before the great flood, seventeen-year-old Hod must leave the home of his father and find his uncle Enoch in the mountains of Eden. Pursued by the evil nephilim, Hod must fulfill a mission that will lead to the eventual downfall of the evil giants.

On his quest Hod finds friends to help him deal with the old serpent who attempted Eve, the secret dangers of the mountain caves, and the treacherous behemoths that fill the land. Hod and his four friends must fight the armies of Kron, king of the nephilim, while saving a young girl from the grasp of the fallen angels called dark watchers.

They conclude their mission by bringing the girl to the home of the oldest ancestor, Seth. Along the way Hod discovers the healing water hidden under the mountain and knows that in the days to come after he returns home he will have to protect the knowledge of this water from Kron.

Pride and Prejudice: Mary's St....

Jeanne Desautel Foster and Jan....

The romance of Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy is told from the viewpoint of the middle sister Mary who reveals her own secret romance.

Unappreciated and misunderstood, Mary Bennet watches the budding romances of her sisters Elizabeth and Jane with Mr. Darcy and Mr. Bingley; however, since she is considered the plain sister, no one knows that she has her own secret loves.

As Mary expresses her opinions and observations about the ongoing dramas in her family, she grows and develops into a heroine in her own right. As she falls in love with a neighboring tutor and considers the possibility of falling in love with one of Mr. Wickham's fellow officers, Mary reveals to the reader that there is much more to her than Jane Austen ever knew. Mary shows herself to have the same sharp wit and saucy observations as many of Austen's heroines. At the same time, the reader comes to understand that Mary is without a doubt the equal of her older sisters.

Words and dialogue from the original Pride and Prejudice are blended with new material in this novel. No fan of Jane Austen should miss this new take on an old character!

Roger, I don't spend much time reading but try to give a little time to all those who have read mine. Your writing is very good; however, I think the book would attract more readers and perhaps a publisher if you condensed it. Not many people today will take the time to stick with such a long book. ... view book
