I have (tentatively) returned from the abyss that is my life. I'm a 19 year old who has that crazy dream of publishing a book, so here I am.I love reviews. All of them. I love criticism, harsh criticism, and glowing praise. It all helps. Dish it out. =)About reads, I will not comment if the book is not my cup of my tea. I mean no offense at all; I'm just very picky about what I read. =/ By no means do I expect you to read my book if it isn't your type of book. I respect that.Because I'm insane busy with my new apartment and college, I WILL NOT return a read unless you ask me to, and it is very possible the book will fall under what I said above. I deeply apologize, but I don't have time to read a book that I can't even focus on.Sorry for the inconvenience and good luck with all your books. You all deserve to be here. =)EDIT: I'm working on different projects. The Hawk and the Beast isn't going anywhere (I hope to come back to it one day) but I'm almost done with the first draft of a book of mine. =) Stay tuned.

Fletch, You have a writing style that reminds me of Flannery O'Connor. A darker tone, but very lifelike. However, you have something that makes it your own, such as how you carry out the plot, sentence fluency, etc. I'm very impressed with this. Backed. =) Kali~ The Hawk and the Beast view book
Rebecca, This is a very entertaining read. Sophia is characterized very well, and her life realistic. She is a black sheep in this town, and yet she is trapped in it. She has the reader's sympathy, but no one else's. My only complaint is that the plotline is quite slow, and I didn't really get ho... view book
This is definitely well-done. I have few complaints about this. The prose proves you know what you're doing and the fact that you describe what something is for those who are military-ignorant like me (such as the RPG) is very well done. It doesn't read like a lecture or a textbook, but I still know... view book
Steve, The action is phenomenal! It kept me interested, and it kept me going. Absolutely incredible. I nearly had my fist in my mouth when her strap was caught. However, there are some instances where you speed through information so fast. With the instance of her mother dying, if you can't ma... view book
Patricia, This is an endearing story, if not a bit cliche, but that's the point, right? One thing though, PLEASE slow down. When Mary fell I didn't really know what was going on until she was falling twenty feet. Show more, and slow the pace just a little. Other than that, I LOVE the prose! Keep ... view book
