about me

I don't write like I used to, and I only ever did write as a hobby. Ty Bean was a character in a series of children short stories I wrote a long time ago. They were mostly about the adventures of a boy and his dog, Pocco. That was a long time ago, though. Now I prefer to see the brilliance of others put into words and marvel at your greatness. I am a retired engineer, which I realize is an oddity for someone who enjoys reading/writing. What can I say? I'm an odd, old duck.

If I don't respond to your message, don't take it personally. I'm old and slow, and I'm more interested in reading at my own pace and enjoying stories rather than building a network of online friends. No offense. I just can't keep up with it.

On a final note, that photo is not of me. I stole it, but keep that between us. I am about that age however (roughly 90), but am very shy. That man is much better looking than I, but I make up for it in cheekiness.
