Fontaine

Thanks to everyone who has supported Cloud..

The beautiful covers for my books are by former Authonomite, Iso Nuys. Big thanks to him, once again. Please note that both books have been to the Desk. No backings required.

I only back books I like and don't change my shelf very often. I give honest feedback.

My avatar is called 'The Billy Boys' and is by Jack Vettriano, one of my favourite artists.

Books I would recommend on here are on my shelf.,

Now living in Africa and at last have time to follow my favourite occupations, writing and reading (and walking on the beach).

Hello! Thanks for being willing to step in again. May I ask that you wait until tomorrow, though? I'm tweaking the first couple of chapters - looking for that clarity and expect to have it ready to upload in a few more hours.

    Thanks!

Thank you for stopping by to read - I'm still working on it and hope to smooth the 'jumpiness' out, but it is inherent to the early part of the story. Once they meet up again, which is shortly after the backward look, it will settle down and all be 'forward'.

Hello, again. A Matter of Friendship has passed through the gauntlet and is available, if you have time and inclination.

I know! :(. I tried uploading three times this weekend, thinking I was doing something wrong, but it's the ePub thingie back again. Several other people noticed it, too, and notified HC. As of this morning, Andrew says they're 'looking into it' and thnks us for our patience.

No worries since it's my job to be clear. Based on your comment, I changed it, doing my job. So thank you for that.

Thanks for pointing that out, and I do realize the usual connotation, but in this case, it is deliberate. The story is a first person narrative of a woman falling in love with another woman's husband. She sees that Peter is attracted to her, and that he's falling out of love with Lara, but neither of them are willing to do anything about it. While their friendship grows, and the rift between Lara and Peter expands and becomes more obvious, ...

How marvelous! I didn't know - but I wanted to acknowledge what you and everyone did for me this week, and I thought by weaving everyone into my FFF story it was a fitting acknowledgement. Fontaine just sounded perfect for that part, so I'm doubly delighted!

Hello, Fontaine. Thank you for your kind words of support. I'll get better, it'll just take a bit of time. And you're right, I won't stop writing. I just won't be posting here, for a while at least, because it's simply too raw right now.

    Best~

Yeah. I wish I hadn't looked up the word. I'd never heard of it and was better off for it.

Thank you very much for your message, Fontaine. It's much appreciated. I've had quite a few messages. I wasn't expecting any. After what happened, I simply wanted to make the point that life is short, but precious. I'll pass your thoughts on to my daughter.
