Fourth year of retirement. Writing more all the time and loving it. Have ten novels posted on Kindle and Create Space. If you would like to check them out, kind reviews would be greatly appreciated.

Have already added two books to the Amazon machine this year. Valley of Shadows, Western Wives Book 3, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00RPTXMU4. My newest novel is Glitter of Magic, a fantasy romance about a fairy and a knight, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00TE9P6DO. Also added another story, actually the first story I had published back in 1977 by Alfred Hitchcock Mystery Magazine. Titled The Revenooer, http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U25K5BW

Had a good first year and the western wives novels were on a couple of the kindle genre lists for three or four months. Now with Kindle Unlimited and Prime eating away at sales and profits, this year doesn't look as bright. But after writing most of my life, I am pleased to have a platform for some of my favorite stories. Makes me work harder at editing and proofing them and has even given me a little money.

The Milch Bride, posted on here two years ago was revised with suggestions and help from members of the Authonomy Romance group. It has been on three different Kindle Bestseller Lists (since there are a thousand + lists, not that significant). Now available http://www.Amazon.com/dp/B00JC6DOLK

Killing the Darlings is a project written during 2013 NaNoWriMos. It's a horror story that begins with a home invasion, but is about a loving couple who are forced to face the horrors of aging. http://www.Amazon.com/dp/B00IRRMO2A

Edge of Night is a romantic suspense novel completed in January 2014 and revised with members of my local writers group. http://www.Amazon.com/dp/B00J0LLQC6

Chimera Pass is a recent book that began as a screenplay and I converted it into novel form in April, 2014. It's a western, horror story available at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KALJYRY

Will Henry was my second project during April 2014's Camp NaNoWriMos. I converted the script Will Henry - The Monopoly King into the Young Adult novel, Will Henry. It is the story of a boy who has to take on a man's job and work on a train during the depth of the depression in rural Tennessee. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00K5POM0O

Potter's Field, was first published by Advance Books, a small press publisher no longer in business. I recovered all the rights and it is now available on Amazon as well. It is a cozy mystery about a retired English teacher who becomes a private eye in a rural Tennessee town. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00KH7Q8C0

From Darkness to Glory was also on a couple of the Kindle lists for two or three months on Amazon. It is a historical western, second in the series I'm calling Western Wives. It is about Lynne McKinney's journey from the factories of Boston to marry a Wyoming rancher who turns out to be a gunfighter. http://amazon.com/dp/B00LG1ZPMK

Wrote a short story, Ghost Warrior, for a western publisher. It is the tale of escaped murderer Snake Wilton, a half-breed. He escapes from Yuma Prison to try and shed his weaker, white-half. It is now part of Western Tales #8, published by Western Trailblazers. The story is also for sale as a single title on Kindle, http://amazon.com/dp/B00M62NBEC.

I finished a short novella, Happy Girl, last month during July 2014 CampNaNoWrimos. It is about a young woman who loses her baby and is tempted to kidnap someone else's daughter. For sale at http://amazon.com/dp/B00MHHXMEA.

I am removing He's My Baby Now, written as my 2012 Nanowrimos novel, from Authonomy. It's the story of an ambitious young lawyer who finds a baby on her doorstep during Hurricane Sandy. It is now available on Kindle and Create Space at http://amazon.com/dp/B00N1X6ZFW.

I have two stories in short story anthologies, Ghost Warrior mentioned above is in Western Tales #8 and an excerpt from Killing the Darlings is in Short Tails. Short Tails is an anthology of animal stories by Foxleaf Authors. http://www.amazon.com/Short-Tails-Troy-D-Smith/dp/1500747289/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1409177916&sr=8-5&keywords=j.r.biery.

Happy as always to exchange reads, critiques, and honest novel reviews with anyone interested.

Running the family farm: difficult; figuring out men: exasperating; finding a pregnant prostitute at her front door: hellish. Can Corrie handle it all?

Hello Mrs. J.R. Biery, Stopping by to thank you for your review/suggestions for The Romantic. I've been absent from Authonomy, as of late, due to beginning work on a new novel. You know how it is. :-) In any case, I'll be removing The Romantic from Authonomy soon, as I prepare for publication. Would like to quote you in the "Praise for The Romantic" section of the book, "J.R. Biery, Western Wives Series" ....if that's okay with you? Hope all ...
